A Great Big Thank You to all those who came out yesterday to weed, mulch, spread mulch and identify sick trees and mark where new trees need to be replanted. We all enjoyed a crisp beautiful fall day.

Help us manage our properties for stream protection, invasive control, and public trail access. Intern must be reliable, dependable, and able to take direction and to work independently. Time Commitment: 2-20 hours per week, Community Service hours available. Hours are flexible. Number of Interns Needed: 2-4.

Celebrated the opening of Kennett's first-ever Nature Preserve, Stateline Woods Preserve, with the Family Eco-Festival and 9K Run. Currently managing Preserve for passive recreational use from dawn to dusk. See Preserves for Details.

Join the Delaware Nature Society on a walk around the Bucktoe Creek Preserve to enjoy the diverse birdlife of this private nature preserve near Kennett Square, PA. The walks will focus on the beginning birder, but all skill levels are welcome. Stroll through meadows, forests, thickets, and marsh in search of migrants, wintering and resident birds, learn identification tips, and meet other local birders.
