We have several ways you can help to support our mission of local land preservation:
- Become a Supporter and help us to spearhead projects, provide land/trail maintenance, office assistance, and coordinate special events;
- Donate to our yearly fund drive, attend outreach events, and fundraising events.We welcome your tax deductible donations year round and appreciate public and private support. - Become a Kennett Township Land Trust Board member
- A demonstrated interest in the mission of the Kennett Township Land Trust.
- The time available to be an active Board member and fulfill the responsibilities outlined in this job description.
- Skills and knowledge that will assist the organization in achieving its mission and goals.
- Agendas and special documents to be reviewed for a Board meeting will be delivered (typically via email) two to five days in advance of the meeting. (To avoid unnecessary waste and expense, Board members are expected to print and bring these documents to meetings)
- Access to staff to respond to questions and concerns.
- Board meeting dates for the coming year will be set prior to the current year’s end.
- New Board member orientation session.
- Satisfaction in knowing they have made a difference in preserving the natural resources in their community.
