Bit by bit, backyard by backyard, everyone's individual stewardship efforts really do add up, creating a watershed of positive difference. Our hope is to both satisfy landowners' visions for their land and also to show that Chester County can be an environmental leader in our region when it comes to doing our part for the planet.

Here is how the program works. The landowner will contact TLC. Our staff member will gather information from you about your land and your goals and hopes for the property. A mutually agreed upon time will be set up so that we can come out and walk the land with you and answer all the questions you may have from meadow restoration, starting a vegetable garden or compost area to identifying those plants and trees that you always wondered about.

Together with a TLC staff member - our Specialists will compile a report for you, the homeowner to keep. The report will include all the notes that were taken on the day of our visit and any pictures if needed. It will also include action steps that are suggested to achieve your goals for a certain project or long term plans for your property. Also - should you want to take a step further we will also included all the necessary contact names and numbers for our Specialists so that they can help you complete the job.

Rates are based on the size of your property and the number of Specialists that are needed to fulfill your requests. All payments are made directly to the Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County. A credit card will be taken to hold your appointment time - but will not be charged until the day of your visit. Checks are also accepted on the day of your visit. You can expect to receive your follow up report within a week to ten days of our initial visit.

You can feel good in knowing that you are helping TLC for SCC while learning more on taking care of your property. To make an appointment, please call our office at (610) 388-0347 or email landscapevisionaries@verizon.net
